Written by I have been contacted by Yunior in Cuba. They are holding a 5-day training session for their music teachers from around the country on July 24-28 and they need some people to assist by teaching in various areas. Sadly, I will not be able to lead this team nor will I be able to go on this trip. This may not be possible with such a tight deadline, but I am putting it out there to see. Here are the personnel needs:
- Team Leader – will coordinate all details before departure, in transit, on ground and the return. You will be working with NC Baptists on Mission for logistics and with Yunior in Cuba.
- Audio tech teacher – remember their equipment is very limited older analog
- Saxophone teacher
- Drums teacher
- Trombone teacher
- Guitar teacher
- General worship leadership teacher
- Pastor or someone else to lead the plenary sessions to provide tremendous encouragement in a nation that is crumbling and discouraged.
Without a team leader, this trip will not be possible.
Cost is unknown right now but should be no more than $1,500/person. All of this will run through NC Baptists On Mission.
I NEED DEFINITE COMMITMENTS BY THIS WEEKEND IN ORDER TO HAVE TIME TO PROCESS VISAS. You must have a valid passport currently.
