Good morning! I hope you all are all doing well and excited about getting together next Monday. I am really looking forward to our time together.
Please be in prayer for the service. It is easy to be complacent in this area–we have seen God moving in the last worship concerts and we just assume it will continue. I believe what we have experienced is due to fervent prayer and personal preparation of so many in our group. PLEASE DO NOT LET DOWN. Continue to pray for one another. Continue to pray for the people that will be attending the service. We want to see freedom in worship. We want to see changed lives. We want to experience a move of God.
Also, I wanted to see if your churches are participating in the Fill the Tank baptism emphasis. We are asking NC Baptist churches to schedule a baptism service on 4/16 (could be another Sunday near that) and praying for God to bring people in the next weeks to faith in Him and baptism. Go to FillTheTankNC.org for more information and to sign up. We would love to see thousands profess Christ in the weeks ahead as we pray expectantly for God to do this.
If you did not have a chance to read the post I sent out before the last event, A Very Important Request, I urge you to take some time to do that before Monday.
I thank God for each of you and look forward to our ministry together on Monday.
Kenny
Tracy, so sorry to hear this news. I am praying for you, your husband, and family during this difficult time. May God richly bless you and give you the peace that passes all understanding. And may God heal your husband and restore his health.
God bless, Rick Cagle 🙏
Dear fellow singers,
My husband Ron had a heart attack Friday. It has been shocking. He is 54 year old active young man. I don’t have numbers for my alto 2 singers but prayers from all would be appreciated. We have been at Duke all weekend. Thanks in advance.
